The base may be bonus only, deposit plus bonus or another defined amount. Game contribution and excluded activities affect which stakes count towards the required total.
Identify the base before multiplying
A wagering requirement combines a multiplier with a defined amount. In a hypothetical offer, ₹500 bonus at 20-times bonus-only wagering requires ₹10,000 in qualifying stakes. If 20 times applies to a ₹1,000 deposit plus ₹500 bonus, the requirement is ₹30,000. The same multiplier produces very different obligations, so the words after the number matter.
Contribution percentages create a second calculation. If a ₹100 eligible stake contributes 20%, only ₹20 advances the tracker. Clearing ₹10,000 at a constant 20% contribution would require ₹50,000 in actual stakes, ignoring other rules. Games with zero contribution do not advance the requirement at all.
Turnover is not a second cash payment
Repeated stakes can reuse earlier returns, so required turnover is not necessarily a deposit of that size. However, recycling a balance exposes it to further outcomes and expected loss. A balance can run out before wagering is complete. Completion is a contractual condition, not assurance that money will remain to withdraw.
Build a clear reading checklist
Write down the base, multiplier, contribution, maximum stake, eligible games and deadline. Check whether real money or bonus money is used first, whether withdrawals cancel the promotion and whether a cashout cap applies after completion. A bonus tracker should reflect these rules; if it behaves differently, preserve the round records and ask for an explanation before assuming a large amount of play has qualified.
Does completion mean every restriction disappears?
Not automatically. Verification and ordinary account rules can still apply, and some promotional caps operate at conversion or withdrawal. Read the completion clause alongside the cashout clause. Conversely, do not infer an additional wagering condition that the terms never state. The published wording and account record should explain the exact obligation.
In practice
A hypothetical 20× requirement on a ₹500 bonus means ₹10,000 of qualifying play. If 20× instead applies to a ₹500 deposit plus ₹500 bonus, the target becomes ₹20,000.
What to check
Identify the multiplier, base, contribution rates, maximum bet and expiry together. A wagering total is a requirement, not a prediction of cost or winnings.
