Identify the exact game
A title can have different configurations or related editions. Record the provider and the version shown in the game information. Do not borrow the return figure from a review of another edition merely because the artwork looks similar. The game-format guide separates provider, game and operator responsibilities.
Read how a stake becomes a round
The displayed stake can cover a round with several paylines or another combination system. The paytable should explain the winning conditions and any special symbols. A maximum-prize headline needs its qualifying conditions and stake basis; it is not an indication of the typical outcome.
Separate feature access from prize certainty
Bonus rounds, multipliers and optional purchases each need their own rules. A feature label does not show whether entry is random, purchased or conditional on a particular event. Keep the explanation specific to the published rules instead of applying a general rule from another title.
Understand what statistics cannot answer
The Gambling Commission explains RTP as a long-run measure rather than a promise for an individual session. Our RTP and volatility article develops a constructed numerical example. Neither a short winning run nor a losing run is enough to measure the game's theoretical return.
Link game information to account information
Free-spin terms may limit which title or stake can be used. Payment terms govern a separate account process. A clear game explanation therefore identifies its boundaries: rules describe rounds; promotional terms describe rewards; account terms describe balances and withdrawal requirements. If one layer is unknown, say which one rather than labelling the whole experience verified.
Sources and scope
Sources support the specific explanations cited here. They do not certify the platforms in our directory. Rules issued by a national regulator apply within its jurisdiction.
