A stake and its credited wagering amount are not always equal. Contribution describes progress towards a promotional target, not a game's payout probability or RTP.
Contribution turns stakes into qualifying turnover
A contribution rate determines how much of an eligible stake counts towards a wagering requirement. At 100%, a ₹100 stake advances the tracker by ₹100. At 10%, it advances by ₹10. At zero, it contributes nothing. The percentage describes promotional accounting, not the game's RTP or the probability of winning.
If ₹2,000 of qualifying turnover remains and a game contributes 25%, ₹8,000 of stakes would be needed at that fixed rate. That calculation assumes the game is eligible, stakes remain within the limit and no other exclusion applies. It does not predict the balance remaining after the play.
A low contribution can outweigh a familiar game name
Table games, live games and particular slots may have different rates, and individual titles can be excluded despite belonging to an eligible category. The exact title and version matter. A lobby categorisation does not overrule an explicit list of promotional exclusions.
Reading a progress tracker
Compare the accepted stake with the contribution rate and tracker movement. Check whether progress appears immediately or after settlement, and whether voided or refunded rounds are removed. Preserve the promotion rules active at the time. If a ₹100 stake contributes only ₹20, first inspect a possible 20% rate before assuming a technical error. A reported discrepancy should identify the round and expected calculation.
In practice
If a hypothetical game contributes 10%, a ₹100 eligible stake records ₹10 of wagering progress. A game contributing 100% would record ₹100 for the same eligible stake.
What to check
Check game exclusions, contribution rates and whether particular features or bet types are prohibited. Confirm the promotion's rules before calculating progress.
