A transaction can contain several separate stakes. The relevant rules specify whether a displayed amount applies per line, position, round or combined bet.
Exposure, turnover and deposit
Stake is money committed to a particular wager. A deposit adds funds to an account; turnover adds up stakes over multiple wagers. A ₹1,000 deposit can produce ₹5,000 turnover if earlier returns are repeatedly staked. That does not mean ₹5,000 was deposited, nor does it establish a ₹5,000 loss.
For a single ₹100 wager at decimal 2.00, a win returns ₹200 including the stake and produces ₹100 profit. A loss returns zero and loses the ₹100 stake. Additional side bets are separate exposure and should be included when describing the cost of the whole round.
Multiple selections and additional wagers
An accumulator usually has one stake covering the combination. A system bet can split its stated total across several combinations. Blackjack doubling or splitting can add further stakes after the initial hand. Read whether an interface amount means per selection, per line, per combination or total cost.
Use accepted records
The stake on a receipt should match the amount committed in the transaction history. A rejected instruction is not an accepted stake even if a screen briefly displayed it. Promotional credit and free bets can have distinct stake-return rules, so distinguish cash exposure from nominal promotional value. This accounting is necessary for checking returns, wagering trackers, net losses and limit usage accurately.
In practice
Depositing ₹1,000 and placing a ₹100 selection means the deposit is ₹1,000 and the stake is ₹100. The account funding and the individual amount at risk are different quantities.
What to check
Identify the unit and bet scope before calculating returns or promotional progress. Do not substitute deposit size for stake size.
