Bonus round

A bonus round is an additional game feature triggered or entered under a game's rules, such as a sequence of spins, a picking feature or a separate prize stage. It is different from an operator's account promotion or welcome bonus.

Trigger and feature rules

A game can trigger a bonus through scatters, a random event, a collection mechanic or another stated condition. The feature may use altered reels, multipliers or a different prize distribution. Its name does not identify the trigger probability, expected prize or minimum return. Read the feature section of the paytable.

The accepted base-game stake often sets the feature's stake basis. If a ₹10 paid round triggers eight feature spins, those spins might use the ₹10 basis without another cash stake. That does not imply they guarantee ₹80 in returns. They are opportunities evaluated under the feature rules.

Triggered versus purchased entry

A feature buy can charge a separate amount for direct entry. A triggered feature is instead part of the base-game outcome. Their advertised RTP or feature configuration can differ. Some account promotions prohibit purchases while allowing naturally triggered features, so game rules and promotional eligibility both matter.

Retriggers and caps

Additional rounds may be awarded during the feature if a retrigger condition occurs. A maximum feature length or maximum payout can stop further progression. Persistent wilds or multipliers normally last only for the duration stated. Do not assume the state carries into the next ordinary paid round.

Why anticipation is not evidence

Several unsuccessful triggers or a near miss do not make a feature due in an independent game. A collection state is relevant only if it is genuinely retained under documented rules. When assessing a feature payout, identify its entry route, starting stake, stage awards and stopping condition. A colourful animation or large maximum prize does not reveal the probability of the observed result.

Is the feature award already included in the round total?

Often an interface shows a feature subtotal and then an overall round total. Those figures can overlap. If ₹20 was awarded before a feature and the feature produced ₹80, a cumulative ₹100 display should not be added to the earlier ₹20 and ₹80 again. Read whether a number is a stage award, feature subtotal or cumulative settlement. The round ledger should identify the final credit once. A sequence of celebratory screens is not evidence of several independent account credits.
