Prize cap

A prize cap limits an award under a game's or feature's rules. It can be stated as a currency amount or stake multiple and is separate from a promotional maximum cashout or a cashier's per-transaction withdrawal limit.

Which award is limited?

A game can cap one round, a feature total or a specific prize category. If its maximum is 5,000 times the reference stake, a ₹2 stake gives a ₹10,000 cap under that basis. A line-stake basis would produce a different amount from a total-spin-stake basis, so the unit must be explicit.

Suppose an uncapped calculation produces ₹12,000 but the round cap is ₹10,000. The award can be limited to ₹10,000 if that is the published rule. A feature may also end when the cap is reached. Adding later animation values beyond that stopping condition would not reproduce the contractual award.

Game cap versus promotional cap

An account promotion might allow only ₹5,000 to convert or be withdrawn even when the game awards ₹10,000. Those are separate restrictions. The game calculation can be correct while the promotional balance treatment creates another question. A review should display both concepts clearly.

Maximum does not imply likelihood

A top prize identifies an upper bound or advertised possible award, not its probability. A 5,000-times maximum does not mean that a player should expect it after a certain number of rounds. RTP and prize distribution provide different information.

Checking a discrepancy

Preserve the stake basis, feature state, award calculation and applicable cap. Ask whether the cap applies before or after multipliers and whether the final display is cumulative. Avoid treating a general maximum-win banner as proof that the observed combination qualifies for that maximum. Exact configuration and round rules are necessary.

Does the maximum prize include jackpot awards?

Only the exact rule can establish that scope. A round cap might include ordinary and feature awards while a separately governed jackpot has another limit, or the cap might cover the whole combined result. Identify what counts in the maximum and which stake unit it uses. Do not assume a lobby's largest banner is the cap for every round. If an award stops at a threshold, preserve the relevant calculation and rule so game limits are not confused with later account withdrawal restrictions.
