The paytable may express prizes as currency, credits or multiples of a stake. Features and special bets can have separate payout rules, so the unit matters as much as the number.
Reading the stake unit correctly
Start with the unit beside each prize. A number can mean credits, a currency amount, a multiple of the line stake, or a multiple of the total bet. In a 20-line example with ₹1 on each line, the total spin stake is ₹20. A 50-times line prize pays ₹50, not ₹1,000, if the rules use the ₹1 line stake as their multiplier base.
Next identify the required combination: symbol count, direction, starting reel and whether gaps are allowed. Three matching symbols visible anywhere on the screen may not qualify as a left-to-right line win. Scatter prizes, cluster wins and feature awards can use separate evaluation rules, so one ordinary-symbol table rarely explains everything.
Interactions between special symbols
A wild may substitute for ordinary symbols while being excluded from replacing scatters. A multiplier may apply to one line, one cluster or the combined round payout. If two effects overlap, the order of calculation matters. Read whether prizes accumulate, whether only the highest award pays, and whether a displayed maximum includes feature wins.
Using the rules to resolve a disputed round
Keep the game title, configuration, round identifier, stake and relevant screen. Compare the recorded symbol arrangement with the actual qualifying condition before estimating a missing payout. A screenshot without the stake unit can be misleading. If the result remains unexplained, ask the operator for the round record and provider rule rather than assuming a similarly named game's paytable applies.
In practice
A displayed prize of 20× could mean twenty times the line stake rather than twenty times the entire spin stake. The accompanying rules explain which amount is multiplied.
What to check
Read the units, qualifying combinations and feature exceptions. Use the paytable for the exact game version rather than a similarly named title.
