Wilds may be restricted to certain reels or excluded from replacing bonus symbols. Expanding, sticky or multiplying wilds add further conditions rather than one universal behaviour.
Different wild behaviours
A standard wild substitutes for eligible ordinary symbols. An expanding wild covers additional positions; a stacked wild occupies several positions on a reel; a sticky wild remains for a defined number of rounds or feature stages. These names describe different mechanics. They do not tell you whether the wild also has its own prize, multiplier or reel restrictions.
Imagine a line containing cherry, wild, cherry. It can qualify as three cherries if the wild is allowed to substitute and the line is active. The same wild between two scatters need not create a three-scatter trigger. Substitution exceptions prevent a general wild rule from being applied to every special symbol.
Multipliers and overlapping awards
A wild multiplier can affect only a combination using that wild, or it can affect a broader feature payout. Two multiplier wilds might add or multiply their effects, depending on the rules. For a ₹40 base award, 2-times and 3-times effects produce ₹240 if multiplied together, or ₹200 if their factors are added to make 5 times. The published calculation controls.
Does a wild make the next spin more promising?
A wild shown in a completed base-game round usually has no bearing on the next independent round. Persistence exists only when a specific feature carries that state forward. Check its duration and reset conditions. Do not treat a visually dramatic symbol as proof of improved value; the entire probability and payout model determines theoretical return.
In practice
A wild might replace an ordinary fruit symbol but not a scatter. A visually promising combination will still fail to trigger a bonus if the required scatter count is missing.
What to check
Read the substitution exceptions, positions and feature rules in the paytable. Do not assume a wild substitutes for every symbol.
