Activation sequence
A campaign can require opt-in before a deposit, before a wager or during a stated window. Another can apply benefits automatically without that step. The offer terms and account confirmation identify the actual sequence. A visible promotional card alone does not prove participation.
Suppose a fictional reward requires opt-in followed by a ₹500 qualifying deposit. A ₹500 deposit made before opting in may not qualify. Later activation does not necessarily apply retrospectively. Read the sequence before committing money, and preserve the activation timestamp if eligibility is later disputed.
Reward consent and marketing consent
Joining a promotion and agreeing to SMS marketing are distinct actions. A verified phone number can support an account check without implying permission for every message category. Clear controls should explain what is being accepted and how preferences can be changed.
Compatibility and cancellation
An account can have restrictions on simultaneous promotions. Opting into a new campaign may replace another only if the stated rules explain that effect. A later opt-out can stop future participation without automatically reversing every accepted action. Check the cancellation and existing-balance treatment separately.
What a confirmation should show
Look for the campaign identity, activation time, eligible action, expiry and conditions. A support record should distinguish button clicked, activation accepted and qualifying transaction completed. Do not repeat a deposit or wager merely because a status is unclear. Opt-in establishes a defined participation choice; it does not guarantee a reward, a winning outcome or completion of all subsequent conditions.
Is a selected checkbox the same as accepted activation?
Not always. A checkbox can show the user's current choice before a form is submitted or before the service confirms eligibility. The participation record or confirmation establishes what was accepted. Keep the campaign identity and timestamp, especially where a qualifying deposit must follow activation. A failed request should not be counted as completed participation merely because the control briefly appeared selected. The same distinction supports clear marketing preferences: the interface choice and saved consent record need to agree.
