Recipient details and the accepted instruction
A NEFT instruction uses the details required by the sending bank, commonly including the destination account and bank routing information. The confirmation should identify the amount, reference and transaction status. Review those details before authorising the transfer; a copied recipient name alone does not establish that every other field is correct.
If a bank records a ₹3,000 transfer but a receiving platform has not updated its balance, separate bank-side status from platform-side matching. Ask the platform which reference and account record it expects. A bank transfer receipt is evidence of the stated instruction or payment stage, not proof of a promotional credit.
Timing claims need endpoints
Bank processing, recipient posting and a platform's internal ledger can have different clocks. A service saying it processes withdrawals within a day may be describing approval before the bank instruction is sent. Record submission, dispatch and receipt separately before comparing a quoted timeframe with an observation.
Current conditions belong to the bank
Limits, fees, permitted channels and operational details should be checked with the relevant bank and RBI's current guidance. This definition does not promise one universal cost or completion time for every account. A bank's method support also does not establish an external service's eligibility or legal availability.
Resolving a missing credit
Preserve the reference, amount, currency, destination details and timestamps. Ask whether the transfer was rejected, returned, still progressing or received but unmatched. A returned amount is a refund or reversal, not a successful credit to the intended service. Use the official support route and protect full account numbers in public evidence.
Is the recipient's account credit the same as a bonus credit?
No. The bank transfer moves funds under its payment process; a service can then record a deposit and separately evaluate promotional eligibility. A received ₹1,000 transfer can be an ordinary successful deposit without activating a reward if the offer's conditions were not met. Keep bank receipt, internal deposit posting and promotional entitlement as three distinct records. This prevents a missing bonus from being incorrectly described as a failed bank transfer and helps direct the question to the responsible process.
