Accepted terms define the wager
A useful receipt identifies the event, market, period, line where applicable, accepted odds, stake, currency and timestamp. Combinations should identify their legs and product type. A reference helps locate the record when discussing a settlement or account discrepancy.
Suppose a screen initially shows decimal 2.20 but an accepted receipt shows 2.00 after a permitted change. The receipt supports the actual accepted price. A screenshot taken before submission supports only the earlier displayed quote unless the rules and later confirmation establish otherwise.
Wallet entries and returns
A stake reservation or debit should correspond to an accepted wager. A receipt can also show settlement and total return later. Potential return is an amount conditional on the qualifying outcome; it is not money already credited. Returned stake and profit must remain separate when interpreting a winning or neutral result.
Amendments and partial events
Cashout, void legs, dead heats and corrections can create later entries. Preserve the original receipt and subsequent changes rather than replacing the history with only the final balance. For exchange bets, requested and matched amounts can differ and need their own records.
Evidence and privacy
Share only the fields needed through the official support process. Receipts can reveal account identifiers and betting history, so public screenshots deserve careful redaction without removing the relevant market and calculation. A receipt proves the stated accepted record within its scope; it does not establish typical performance for all users, legal availability or the accuracy of an unrelated promotional claim.
Does an editable bet slip prove the wager was placed?
No. It can show intended selections and an estimated return before acceptance. A confirmation with a reference and accepted terms is stronger evidence of the actual contract. Rejected, expired or changed instructions should be recorded as those states. If the wallet was debited without a receipt, identify the ledger entry and ask the provider to reconcile it. Avoid presenting an unsubmitted slip as a completed personal test or a potential return as money already paid.
