Readers Contributions is a space for useful, original writing from Gaming4U readers. Every article, comment, display name and profile photo is reviewed before it appears publicly. Share what helps someone understand a topic; do not use this space to advertise a company, recruit customers or encourage unsafe behaviour.
What you can contribute
Practical explanations, thoughtful questions, lessons from your own experience and constructive discussion are welcome. Explain the point early, show how you reached it and distinguish observation from opinion. If you describe personal experience, describe only what actually happened to you. Do not invent tests, winnings, credentials or conversations.
Articles should be 150–2,000 words with a clear title. Give enough context for another reader to use your explanation. Comments should add something relevant to the article and stay within 3,000 characters. Originality means writing in your own words, not copying an operator’s sales page or another publication. Cite an appropriate source when a factual claim needs support.
No company promotion
We do not publish company advertisements, paid endorsements, affiliate pitches, referral codes, promotional offers, recruitment messages or invitations to gamble. A company may be mentioned only when necessary to explain a factual point; it must not be promoted. Do not post promises of guaranteed wins, recovery of losses or gambling as a source of income. Disclose a relevant financial or professional interest to the moderator before submitting.
Links are for sources
Use no more than two relevant source links. Moderators may remove links that are unnecessary, misleading or promotional. Accepted reader links carry rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer ugc". These attributes identify user-generated links and limit referral and opener behaviour; they do not mean that Gaming4U endorses the linked website.
Do not add tracking links, affiliate parameters, downloads, shortened links or links to malware, scams or illegal services. Linking around a removed or rejected promotion is also prohibited.
Safety, respect and privacy
No violence, threats, harassment, hate speech, sexual exploitation, discriminatory abuse, impersonation or malicious activity. Do not teach hacking, fraud, evasion of safety controls or ways to harm someone. Do not target a person with accusations that cannot be supported. Disagree with an idea without attacking its author.
Never publish email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, passwords, account identifiers, private messages, payment details or images of another person without permission. Redact personal information from any example. Profile photos must be yours or an image you have the right to use, without company branding or unsafe imagery.
Your public identity
Choose a display name in your account and decide whether to show it, put three stars in its middle or appear as Anonymous. New display names and photos require approval. Your private login and contact details do not become your public byline. Anonymous mode hides your public photo as well as your name. A display-name change updates the name shown on your existing public contributions and comments.
How approval works
Submitting content places it in a moderation queue; it does not publish it. Automated checks screen common spam patterns, excessive links, promotional wording and contact details. An administrator then reviews relevance, originality, sources, privacy and safety. Approval is not a guarantee that every factual claim is independently verified.
A moderator may edit for clarity, remove a link, request changes or decline a submission. You can see your status and feedback in your account and revise an unpublished article for another review. Approved articles appear in Readers Contributions; approved comments appear beneath the relevant article. Repeated spam or abuse may lead to account restrictions. There is no promised approval time or payment for submissions.
